The Indian River Dog Training Club, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization formed November, 1975, sanctioned by the State of Florida, licensed by the American Kennel Club, and a member of the Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce. For over 35 years we have promoted responsible dog ownership with training of household dogs and competitive dogs. We recently moved to a new facility at 1465 Clearmont St. NE, Unit B, Palm Bay, FL where our class schedule has been able to expand.

IRDTC now offers Obedience, Rally, Canine Good Citizen testing, Teacup Agility (dogs 17" and smaller at the withers) and Conformation for both purebred and mixed breeds of all ages. During the year we hold 6 Obedience/Rally trials and 8 Agility trials. We look forward to future Teacup Agility Association membership where we can hold trials at our facility. Throughout the year we hold the American Temperament Testing, seminars, and Show and Goes.

Presently we have over 100 members and they all have varied interests from just a love of dogs, to the various classes offered and entering trials.

Your best friend is your dog as they continue to be an integral part of our households. It is important that your dog is well trained to be a welcomed member of your family. We encourage you to attend classes and help your dog be the best he or she can be.
